Deborah Villepigue has been actively involved in the jewelry business since 1986.In this time, she has been a buyer of colored gemstones, pearls and diamonds for television productions and major retailers; a jewelry designer for major international catalogs and a consultant to the Fine Jewelry Department of American Express.

The Jewelry Appraiser Inc. is a fully operating laboratory.

The appraisal reports that are produced by Deborah Ann Villepigue at The Jewelry Appraiser Inc. are detailed full appraisals. These reports are accepted by ALL insurance company's. There are multiple photos taken of each item. There is also a detailed fingerprint that can be made for each diamond and/or colored stones so that no one can switch the stone. If the stone or stones are ever damaged or switched, Deborah can detect this from the previous finger print that was taken. You need to protect yourself and your jewelry. The Jewelry Appraiser Inc. works by appointment only. We are opened 5 days a week, night and weekend hours are available. Deborah is also an expert witness. She is also available to assist in jewelry shopping, for the single item or for the retailer and wholesaler. Before you make your purchase on your engagement ring or any other piece of jewelry an appraisal can be done BEFORE the point of purchase. Make sure you are getting what is truly being sold to you.
