Arcadia vs. Faze 4???

Hi all..besides the price, how does Arcadia compare to Faze 4?? I also heard Groove Shop is really good and NYC Swing. They are pricey, but I would rather pay a little more to have a great band...I want a mix of male and female and a diversity of music from Beyonce to Motown...I priced Arcadia, Faze 4 (original), Hank Lane (very pricey), Frank Wayne (Heart and Soul), and Code Bleu...please help!!!

I've heard Faze 4 is awesome. I haven't heard anything about Arcadia.

As for the others, I can only tell you that Code Bleu is amazing and I booked with them!

did code bleu have a mix of different type of singers? i read good things about them. so hard to decide!

Yup. The standard band is 8 people:

Guitarist (male backup vocal - does a GREAT James Taylor)
Lead female
Lead male
Lead male
Saxophone (male backup vocal)
Pianist (male backup vocal - Think Paul McCartney / young Billy Joel)
Drummer
Bassist

We also added on the second female vocalist. She's more R&Bish than the first female. And she does an AMAZING Christina Aguilera or Alicia Keys. And there's an option for a trumpet player too.

Arcadia doesn't even come colose to comparing to Faze 4. You'll be blown away by The Original Faze 4 and the other bands under the Faze 4 name. Seriously. Go check them out.

I have heard both and they are both awesome. My cousin had Arcadia at her wedding..everyone was on the dance floor! Faze 4 awesome too....don't know what the price is for either.

Faze4 is the top LI band, they are hard to book. They were booked 2 years before my wedding.
They are amazing...everyone remembers any wedding they have ever been to that had Faze4.

after we couldn't get Faze4 we had ahard time finding somethig that could match up. We went with them, they are out of NJ and rehearse in NYC so a lot of people may not have heard of them but they played Billy Joels wedding and they get the party going.

we are using NYC swing. I would also rec. Faze4, I've heard they are amazing. NYC swing has some very very talented singer....charles their male lead was nominated for an Oscar last year for the theme song in august rush. He's BEYOND amazing!!

probably about the same price. When you book faze4 every thing is ala carte. If you want ceremony music you have to pay, cocktail music you have to pay and extra horns, etc.

I got a package that includes Piano player before ceremony, piano and flute for ceremony, 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour and 11 piece band for reception. It might have even been a drop cheaper but around the same price.

I like NYC swing as well, they have a lot of energy but they are a real swing band and I wanted more of a soul, motown, etc band. It is all what ever your preferences are.

Isnt Faze like double the price of Arcadia??? I think Arcadia will be great, we didnt book them but I have heard wonderful things!

Arcadia is AMAZING. I work for a music magazine and I'm VERY picky about bands. I heard them and we booked them on the spot.

I know this isn't what you're asking but have you checked out any of Faze 4's other bands?? They have 10 altogether and the rest are a lot cheaper than the original Faze 4 and still really amazing. We're using Scott Yanney but I also recommend the Next Faze.

we are open to the other bands within Faze 4. Scott Yaney is about $1k cheaper and the rest are $2k cheaper (not sure if they are negotiable). I heard great things about True Blue and the Next Faze. I am sure they are all good b/c I think Bob trains them all and he has a great reputation.

We booked Sound Image (from Faze 4). They are amazing and reasonably priced.
