Thanks Ember! Actually Ember my mother asked if she could make a shawl for the girls..... I just dont even know what to tell her to make and with what fabric!!?!?!

My BM dresses came with them, but if they didnt have them I don't think it would make a difference. They really don't keep you any warmer.

If it is too cold outside in Feb, I am not bringing my BP outside. We are all getting our hair and make up done inside the temple bridal room - nobody will be cold. I, however, would LOVE to find a white fur wrap to wear for one or two pictures outside of the temple. Maybe I can borrow or rent one I can tough the cold.

I bought my girls cashmere wraps to wear over the dresses in ivory as their gift. This way it is color and fabric that they can use in every day life. I'm not doing the traditional jewelry gift. I wanted to give them something different. And really, what girl doesn't love cashmere.

at my brothers wedding which was last winter, we bought pashminas in the city for $10.00 each, they matched the dress perfectly. Even if they don't use them for $10.00 who cares and they can always reuse a cashmere pashmina anyway.

The lord and taylor clearance center in Levittown is the MECCA for shawls. They have 100's in every single color. Go check them out!

My girls that wore shawls were still freezing when we were outside, but did not need them inside.
