I have: DJ, musician, soloist, officiant, hall, flowers, invitations, dress, hotel for that night, house rental for the weekend, makeup & hair trial scheduled for May, and whatever else I am forgetting...

Need: to finalize ceremony details, something for people to throw at us, decide on music, jewelry, OOT gift bags with winery theme, make programs, decide on menu,.....train my dog to walk down the aisle with me!! lol....


Oh and duh!! I need MY wedding band (already picked out tho) and.....HONEYMOON!!

Hey ladies, thought I'd check in... We finally booked a rehearsal dinner and I went shopping yesterday with my mom for her dress. Still waiting for my dress to come in...

Finally bought my dress...a Lazaro. It was a sample so I save a little money, not much. Tomorrow we're meeting with Flowers by Burtons.

paying off the vendors, ordering favors, make up & hair trials, shopping for MOB dress, making the menus, working on the layout of the programs, buying clothes and sandals for the honeymoon, dieting and excerising and setting up appts for fitting of my dress. This is basically it in a nut shell. I can continue, but it would be toooo long. I have to get the labels done for the invites. will be putting the together and out next month.

Okay, I feel like a few things are starting to come together, first off, I'm sooo happy I found the BM dresses, so now I can search for invites and I will be making a decision on the florist by next week. We booked the Honeymoon on Saturday....My excitement level has just risen several notches and it's becoming more real as each week goes by!!

On the 5th we have our final meeting with the priest. After that then we will order the invites. I got the fans for the ceremony (Aug wedding) it may be hot. I am going to put some ribbon and those little flowers on the handle. We have our design session for july 8th. I will start on the programs once I am sure of the church and what and who I want to read passages at the wedding. Closer to the wedding I will get the FG's dresses. I am noticing that my daughter is getting tall so I am going to wait.

I received my STD's and invitations they are gorgeous...just had my
E-Party this past Saturday it was great..final prep at this point, paying off all vendors and getting nervous as the days go by!

I'm working on getting my invitations out, bridal party gifts, and finding a place for the RD. Oh lets not forget working out

Okay, now I'm onto invitations, not to happy with whats out there, I must be really picky because the choices for a lot of things such as BM dresses, invites, favors etc. are sooo BLAH and overdone!! Anyway, I want to see about booking some hotel rooms and the officiant this month in addition to the invites getting made. The days/months are flying by!!

Me too, but I found some really great, and cheap, catalogs online. We are doing something less traditional (square with raw edges).

As for the rest of teh stuff, My dress is in and no alterations. I had issues with my BM dresses but they are getting taken care of (not with the store, but with one of my BM) and I have two DJs on reserve and need to pick one. I took my engagement photos, am meeting with my rabbi tonight, drafted my programs, reserved the hotels. Now all I have to do is to try to stay calm until my wedding day!

I AGREE WITH YOU MY INVITE'S SHOULD BE MAILED OUT AT THE END OF JUNE '04 I CAN'T WAIT AS MUCH AS IT IS FUN IT IS ALSO CRAZY.....BUT I HAVE HELP. I ALSO HAVE MY LITTLE SISTER AND HER FRIENDS FOLDING THE ENVELOPES FOR ME SO THAT IS ALSO A PLUS...........I THINK THA I WILL BE MEETING WITH THE BANQUET MANAGER ON JULY 20TH IN REGARDS TO MENU, SEATING ARRANGEMENTS AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER MISC. NEEDED FOR THE RECEPTION.....I HAVE CONTINUED TO PAY FOR ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT ARE NEEDED TO BE PAID FOR AND MY 3RD FITTING IS ALSO IN JULY SO THAT IS PRETTY MUCH IT FOR ME SO I DON'T KNOW AM I MISSING ANYTHING ELSE.....................................

you know now i am starting to feel as though i should have kept my original wedding date which was supposed to be on 8-21-04. I see so many people with this date i get anxious because i knew that it was my original date........but i chose 8-20-04 because it was an affordable day for me and my fiance.

but congrats to those who are getting married on that day, enjoy and plan carefully.

Book HM (know where kust have to book)
Fittings
Find FG dress
Buy/order veil
Decide and order favors
Flowers
Finish registering
....and I think like a thousand other things. Wow when does the fun kick in....just teasing

Thanks for the florist recommendation, I think a lot of girls have been using Flowers by Emil, I just have seen so many florists, I'm tired of it at this point, I'm ready for the next step which is invites, limos, officiant, hotel
