I'm going this weekend to LI to find a dress for my mother. Trying to stay on top of the responses that are coming in and trying to get the music for the ceremony together.

lady luv, try sugar plum in Lynbrook for your mom. My mother got her dress there. They have a great selection.

i just sent out my invites monday! everything such as choosing vendors is done. second dress fititng in july......almost forgot...still have to do the tuxedos! ooops

Feeling overwhelmed!!
I currently live in Calgary, Alberta and coming home for my wedding. I am making the invites this week to get them sent off on Monday. I still don't have a DJ. My fiance, fathers and bestman don't have tuxes. Being this far away is tough

Your welcome. If there isn't anything there that your mom likes, try Estelles Dressy Dresses in Farmingdale. It is on Route110 bythe Republic Airport. Good luck my almost wedding twin

It makes me feel better to hear that because I am working on printing up my envelopes this week/weekend...I was starting to get worried that my invites weren't out yet!

Getting ready to go to our CH for menu planing and final hal decoration plans, just received 1st RSVP back, still looking for another stylist and finalizing small purchases and getting ready for our Couple's Shower for next weekend

I'm sending out invites next week. I need to get a veil. I am having a makeup trial next week.

ETA: Ketubah shopping this weekend! woo hoo! we are getting our rings and the Jewelry show in Javits center in July.

Yup I completely empathize!!! My invites have gone out and I have gotten some responses back. My family is so excited about the wedding but they are also adding to my stress. My first fitting is Thursday and I just pray that my dress will look good on me. I've gotten my favors and they are beautiful!

My mom and grandma have gone for their fittings and they look fantastic. My BMs have started their fittings. My 2 MOHs don't have their dresses yet because the bridal salon ordered the wrong dresses. I have gone for my hair and makeup trials. The makeup I love! My hair is another story. I don't know what I will do with it. I really wanted to wear my hair down but I'm afraid if it is too humid that I'll look like a bid frizzball. Shall I go on?

Danielle and I are both stressed and completely overwhelmed. Added to the wedding stuff we are trying to get our apartment ready for us to move in...We have been spackling and painting like crazy...Next up is carpeting and the furniture is being delivered July 6th.

Today Danielle and I are going to the Huntington Townhouse to pick out the food for the wedding.

Tomorrow Danielle and I are going to go to The Tuxedo shop, and I guess next up would be visiting our Dj to pick out the music.

OH MY GOSH....We are almost there can you believe it.... crazy crazy crazy

I cant wait for it to get here already... It's funny i was really feeling stressed overwhelmed anxious...everything and since the invites went out I have been really really calm and enjoying the final stretches with it.

I am unfortunelty, getting back quite a few no's. We wanted a small wedding but I don't know about this small.

I posted pics of my hair and makeup trial AND my ny and la showers under brides helping brides if anyone wants to take a look. :)

OK invites are out, 17 replies so far. Stressing because work is moving to FL and I am working from home -- have to set up the office.
Asked FI to organize HM but did he? NO. So I had to take care of that. (Barbados)
Trade show this weekend with lots of clients pulling me every direction.
'Abnormal' pap smear results, have to have a colopscopy (sp?).
In process of selling my apt., just waiting for the Board to interview the buyer.....
Someone save meeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
At least I have no BM issues, cuz we don't have BMs!! Just the Best Man's wife (FI's siter) asking me to see the suit, and determine his responsibilities...do I have time for this right now?? No.

Sorry Kara about the pap smear results. I am making a promise to myself to get a checkup before the wedding. I am not good at that. I am working on the programs, CD favors, Moving this weekend. my last fitting is on july 10th. So I am trying to make an appointment for a colonic treatment sometime next week.
