I got mine from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and had absolutely no problems at all.

I went to Lillettes in Baldwin (excellent service, great selection), Princess Bridal in Farmingdale (all I can say is yuck), Bridal Garden in Bethpage (good service, nice selection of low priced gowns), Paradise Bridal in Patchogue (not very good service, large selection, prices were sketchy).
I got my dress at BURTONS, the best price and service. I'll post a total review after I pick up my gown in September.

I haven't purchased my dress yet, but I've been to 6 places so far - in Nassau, I highly recommend Macy's Bridal Salon, in Manhasset. I've been there twice and may end up getting a gown there - they have been so courteous, professional and helpful and I haven't even bought anything yet.

that's the place i was thinking but i heard they dont' carry maggie sottero dresses anymore, do you know? Aren't they very pricey, i wonder if you can get the same dress at burtons?

Don't know of you are done shoppng yet but I went to Macys and heard that they give less hastle than other places. My BM got 15% off of their dresses too. Alterations are extra and seem high tho...I have 2 out of town BM so this was the easiest for me. The on in Manhasset only carried Demetrios tho.

service was excellent - it was all handmade so the price was pretty high too

I got mine from RK Bridals. Customer service was really good and they also have a good selection. If you can, go on a weekday instead of the weekend. The place is pretty big and I can see things getting really crazy in there.
