BFN day before AF is due?

BFN day before AF is due?

has anyone ever gotten a BFN the day before AF is due, and then still turned out to be PG.

i tested today with an aimstick early detection and got a BFN...is there still hope?

There is always hope!!! I would test again, but wait a few days afer AF is due... This way you will get the most accurate read out.

Both times I tested on a Friday - the day before AF was due and got a BFN. I got my BFP 3 days after. Good luck!!!

There is hope. The amount of HCG in your system depends on when you ovulated/conceived and on when implantation occurred. If you're a late ovulater (I am) and more significantly, have a short luteal phase (I do), then you may not have enough HCG in your system for a positive result until the day of, or the day after your missed AF.

I always tried to hold off until the day after AF was expected, and I was charting so I knew exactly when it should arrive. It's easier said than done...I know! And btw - the AimSticks are great tests. I don't think there any more sensitive, and I found them to be 100% accurate and easy to use (and cheap!).

I got BFN the day before AF was due with First Response Early Detection and got a BFP the day after AF was due with an EPT.

With my son I got BFN a few times. I dont think I tested before my period was due but I remember clearly that I got BFN and was really sad about it. But a few days after AF was due and I didnt get it, my DH talked me into retrying the tests and I was BFP.
