I just saw it with my mom. We actually saw her at a bridal showcase this year! I don't think I would have been that nice to her.

I feel so bad for everyone that you had to go through this!

Somebody (probably from LIW) called the radio station WBLI this morning and Maria got all worked up. People are already trying to sue and I think all of you should. Buying your wedding dress should be a happy, stressfree occasion and this lady and her crappy store took that away from you. Good luck.

I feel so bad for you and all the other girls who are going thru this horrible horrible situation. It is such a shame, when I heard the news on the radio I wanted to cry even though I don't know who is in this situation but I know if it was me I would be sooo up set. so to all the girls keep your head up- and I'm sure all will work out

News12 was out front of the store again this morning. I guess they are expecting more angry (for good reason!) brides to show up there today.

Also you girls should contact WB11 News at Ten. There's a segment on there called Help Me, Howard and he deals with situations like this all the time.

He's seems to be really good at getting people their money back and resolving issues like this. I know he just did one recently with another bridal shop. I included the link, it's worth checking out since they have a wider broadcast and can get the bad publicity further.

Good for you!!! I say get the word out as much as possible. I have ALWAYS discouraged people from going to that shop. I bought a BM dress from there 4 years ago and it was a NIGHTMARE so I'm not really surprised that she's going bankrupt. Bea does NOT know how to run a business. What a shame, my heart goes out to all you girls out there who are trying to track down your gowns!

I ordered my gown from Bridal Suite and had a wonderful experience. My sister is now getting married in Nov. and her wedding gown has been in and ran on time. The bridesmaid gowns are due in Sept.
Talking to the staff at B.S. they have made arrangements with another Bridal shop to take care of all existing orders. I know it is a stressful time for everyone involved.I hope this will ease everyone, even just a little. If I find out anything out I will let everyone know

Really, the point is not whether or not some people had a good experience. The point is that many many people are currently having a bad one.

yesterday was a nightmare for 200 long island brides....my wedding is now 8 days away...honestly how would you feel in my situation....even if I had a good experience with this place in the past....which I actually did for my sister's wedding...that is no excuse for how the brides and bridesmaids and mothers were treated there yesterday....I would not be telling people how wonderful they were after hearing what happened yesterday.....you weren't there...(or were You?) to see brides crying because there wedding is Aug 27th and the dresses were sent back to the manufator becaue Bea didnt have the $$ to pay to UPS to get the dresses off the truck....your 12 month old son and 8 month pregnant cousin weren't locked inside a building with no electricty for over 3 hrs.

I have never attacked anyone on this site...I have always been sympathic to other brides wedding stresses....but in this situtation I can not sit back quitely....you have no idea what was going through all those brides heads as they were praying and hoping that they would get their dresses in time.

Interesting how your dress came in on time when your wedding is in Novemeber yet the girl who is getting married at the end of August didn't get hers. Must be nice to be that connected

And I doubt you'll see those gowns in September, unless you want to find them in her liquidation sale!
