My husband and I went for a tasting b4 we booked. They hooked us up. We ate so much and my husband was really impressed. Tom was my BM also.

Re: 'CHATEAUBRIAND BRIDES'
Ok so I stopped by CB today to check out the new outside and it is partially done. The chapel area has been redone and new chairs have been added with cushions. They also added an arch down the aisle which is almost finished. There were a bunch of white chairs all around and some guys were still working on the pond and lighting. There was a waterfall which im not sure if that is done just yet either. There is also a new outside bar and a huge BBQ area.I really hope we have a gorgeous day since we have a steel drum band and it will go perfectly with the new decor. OMG I cannot wait for our wedding!!

I love Cb but I really wasnt all that happy with the tasting. They gave us a cold anti for the app- and I really didnt feel like that gave me an idea of the ch or the appetizers. We are not even having cold cuts at the wedding. We didnt taste any pasta, and the entrees- they gave us food that again I wasnt all that thrilled with. I was thinking about going to back there closer to the wedding to have another tasting

Hey Girls-- I'm getting married at CB 9/27 -- sooo excited about this thread!!!I'm having an outdoor cocktail hour (hopefully the weather will be OK)...and they're saying the gardens will be good to go by then.
We're getting married in the DaVinci room with a guarantee of 230ppl.
Someone is making my wedding cake for me (a good friend)...so I asked them if they could throw in something in place of that and Dawn, by BM said they don't do that.
Is this true? I heard something about a mini vienneise hour.
Does anyone know about that?
Good luck!! we all picked a great place!

I had the mini which you can see in the pics. Also they took off 1.50 pp for not using their cake (I applied this credit to an extra hour to the reception)

The day we went to see it was the day after New Years and they had a New Years party in there for 310 people...I don't see how that is possible...Jeff our BM said that he wouldn't do more than 300 I still think that's pushing it...I would say more like 250ish..too bad my guest list is at 317 huh..

Havent you spoken to your bm? I would go straight to Tom...and just explain your problem and concerns...I wouldnt necessarily mention people on here...I would just say that 'I heard...'

I would talk to your BM first. I don't see a problem to mention us. I think they care what people say on Liweddings.
