when i talk to TOM about my lil problem do you think i should mention you guys? and do you think i should tell my BM before i talk to Tom just to show him some respect..
I would talk to your BM first. I don't see a problem to mention us. I think they care what people say on Liweddings.
yeah i spoke to my BM twice i dont know if i should tell him that i am going to talk to the manager??

Ok im reading that many brides got free things thrown in and i didnt.. i went to my BM and Frank said that he gave me the best deal and cant do anything.. Then i called him again when i heard that winter brides get a free room in the inn and he said its only sundays and again he cant do anytihing.. do you think i should talk to the manager.. ?
I dont think i got great deal. Im paying 72 pp a friday night in march.. the prestige menu . We are in the Normandy room and we gaurenteed 160.. what do you guys think?
u really have to negotiate to get the best deal possible. they can always do better then what they initially present to you. We got an ice sculpture & chocolate fountain thrown in2 our package...im sure there are more freebies they throw in especially if you are having a big wedding.

Great thread . . . .I'm Europa and Saturnia and they said we can use the garden during our CH . . .
Also, check out the cake thread I started . . . . I'm going to arrange a group cake tasting for perhaps September so FM me if interested.

Just so you are aware-I would definitely contact Ergas about this-they dont actually bake you cakes, they give you cupcakes of each type of cake with the fillings spread on the top. The bakery also is NOT very big and they are busy during the days and weekends.

that is SO strange..when he listed all of the stuff that was included he said 'every' bride gets an ice sculpture with the names or initials (i forget the specifics) engraved..i'm definitely going over my contract this week with a fine tooth comb

i went to the one on wednesday, I think in my opinion, that it is helpful if you do not have a planner or have no clue who you are going to use as far as vendors. I have a planner so it was just information that my planner as been telling me since i been engaged. Check it out, it can't hurt.

i went to one right after i booked, i think it was in 08/08...it was kool, but def not worth the trip. they just basically go over your timeline with you. they have tea and non-alcoholic drinks, crumpets, etc. then they have a few vendors who present things afterwards.
