I went to school with someone who was dying to be famous. She has been in playboy, on a reality show where she almost got married, several local commercials, and is the traffic girl on channel 11. Does that count? ;)

I just saw a guy from grade school on News 12 getting arrested for flashing himself....does that count!


A guy from that graduated a year before me was on New 12! For fondling teenagers in some sort of church group.

I went to college with Taye Diggs, Thom from Queer Eye and Tom Everett Scott. Duh, I can't believe I forgot my friend and sorority sister Audrey - the meteorologist on Channel 2.


How was Taye Diggs?

I went to Jr. High with Brian Bloom (from some soap opera - don't know which). He used to ask for a dollar if you wanted his autograph - turd!


He went to my school also. I went to school with his brother Scott Bloom. They were on As the World Turns....I think?

Oh Sarah Roche from News 12, does traffic, was in school with me...is she even on News 12 anymore?


My brother works ofr Metro Traffic and Weather.....part of News 12. No, Sarah no longer works there.

In Jr High there was a girl in my classes who was ALWAYS an extra, was in BIg( w/ tom hanks), Born on the fourth of July etc..and She was the 'face' on the box of a childs cosmetics.



THis might be the same girl, I knew. I know she was the face of something..it might have been childs cosmetics. Did you read my post?


YOu said JEssica though right? Her name wasnt Jessica, It was Samantha Larkin. ( I had to google it to remember!)

Then there's my real brush with fame - Debbie Gibson. She never showed up for school but attended graduation I got into a cat fight with her gay backup dancer who also went to our school because he was wearing shiny purple spandex one day to school. I asked him if he was going to do an aerobics video and he said I was just 'jealous'. He had his junk all hanging out for everyone to see. Jealous, no. I just wanted to hurl!!!

I was in the same graduating year with another infamous Merokean, Amy Fisher (from South Merrick).
