Ja Rule (Jeffrey Atkins) was a year behind me at my junior high. He looked like such a dork in his pic (he was an 8th grade graduate so he was in my yearbook).

I know... I was going to scan it and post it on his website somewhere. He has also said in interviews that he got bussed to a 'white junior high school' and how it was so tough being black there. There were as many, if not MORE, black kids as white at my school. He's not the bada$$ he's trying to be.
I'd like to know what HS he went to.

BILLY JOEL WENT TO HICKSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL. HE GRADUATED WITH MY UNCLE.....I DON'T EVEN THINK MY PARENTS WERE THINKING ABOUT ME YET.

During my 4 years of HS, the only semi-famous person I went to school with is the Channel 2 newscaster Mary Calvi .

She graduated the year before me... I don't even know which CBS newcast she anchors now, but she used to be on the Cablevision/Westchester news and now she hit the big time I guess

But many years before me... our most 'famous' alumni was Linda Lovelace, she of 'Deep Throat' porn fame ..

Mind you I went to an all-girls Catholic high school , so they were NOT PROUD of this fact They even removed any copies of the yearbook she appeared in as to not 'acknowledge' her attendance in our school!

Felicia, that is so typical of a catholic high school. I went to an all-girl high school as well, no famous people though.

What school was it, if I might ask.

When we were shopping for photographers, we went to Cassarino Studios and there was a a giant picture of him in there! They told us he got married at Jericho Terrace!

none for me from boring old New Jersey! BUT -

FIL also went to Hicksville High with Billy Joel - he used to go to his shows all the time!

Craig's cousin's girlfriend took classes at BOCES with Heather Matarazzo. This girl has an absolutely amazing singing voice, and Heather gave her a 'tip' on showbiz talk by telling her 'You have a great voice and I'm not BSing you. I hear a lot of BS in this business, but I am not BSing you'


ETA - FIL went to school with Jackie Martling too (Jackie the Jokeman) he used to be an amazing gymnast back then...now look at him!!

Some other people who were there when I went there ... I just blanked on the girls name but she is also married to my first MAJOR HS crush ... she was on Homefront and also played the daughter of JAG's boss ... just came back Guiliana Santini. Other people I can't remember either ...

Many other famous people went to my HS (Tim Robbins, Paul Reiser, **** Cheney, Thomas Callabro, so on)

Well Woody Allan went to my elementary school,light years before me!

Emanuel Lewis (Webster ) went to my HS. He was a freshman or sophomore when I was a senior.

He was in Chorus and I went to see their show. He was in it!

I went to elementary school with this girl, Jessica Prunell, who was in Born on the Fourth of July with Tom Cruise and she was in the Babysitters Club show (the one with the curly blond hair)...she wasn't really famous, but at the time..it was really cool knowing her.

My dh went to highschool with Jules (shes a dj on 103.5 KTU)..she dj's at night...

This doesn't really count, but I will mention it anyway...Natalie Portman went to Syosset high and I bumped into her on the train once and Lindsay Lohan also lived in Syosset (where I was from)...I was reading in US weekly how her dad rammed his car into a telephone pool in Syosset while under the influence.....wondering if it was near my mom's house..lol

If anyone remembers the song 'Take Me in Your Arms' by Lil Suzy..it was popular in like 1992 or so. Lil Suzy was in my grade in Jr. High - I don't think I ever spoke to her though!

I went to Jr. High with Brian Bloom (from some soap opera - don't know which). He used to ask for a dollar if you wanted his autograph - turd!

Then there's my real brush with fame - Debbie Gibson. She never showed up for school but attended graduation I got into a cat fight with her gay backup dancer who also went to our school because he was wearing shiny purple spandex one day to school. I asked him if he was going to do an aerobics video and he said I was just 'jealous'. He had his junk all hanging out for everyone to see. Jealous, no. I just wanted to hurl!!!

I was in the same graduating year with another infamous Merokean, Amy Fisher (from South Merrick).

I went to HS with Moira Kelly( The Cutting Edge, Chaplin) , she was a year older then me.

In Jr High there was a girl in my classes who was ALWAYS an extra, was in BIg( w/ tom hanks), Born on the fourth of July etc..and She was the 'face' on the box of a childs cosmetics.

And not really famous but Stephen/Alec Baldwins Dad was my Social Studies teacher in 8th grade.

And My Ex went to School with Mariah Carey ( same grade) He had a whole bunch of pics of them at beach parties and stuff when they were like 14...
