Lisa Rose - I feel for you but that story is too funny.

I have had a few problems - my eyes are sensitive so I have come out with cuts around my eyes after getting my eyes done. Once it was even bruised. DH said it looked like he beat me. It doesn't happen often but on that rare occasion - urgh! Also I have a kind of bald spot in one eyebrow and I warn them not to take too much but they love to do that to me. Drives me nuts. I have been doing them myself but I much prefer to let someone do it at least once a month to keep the shape because they are typically better than I. I have to go today and I am so dreading it. Wish me luck.

oh man do i know how you feel!! eyebrows are my biggest beauty obsession!! i cannot stand when they get messed up, i hate having to grow it all back. i've had them messed up many times though, either by over-tweezing or because of a stupid threading person. they werent perfect for my wedding either which really sucked but what can ya do. oh to find the perfect threader..

me too! i had stitches over my eye when i was young and no hair grows back there. sometimes i forget to tell the person and then i REALLY regret it!

I have been there too with a bad eyebrow job. The woman who did them before my wedding left a small burn mark upder my brow!!!

I was SO mad!

OMG! I've got a story. I used to always pluck mine and one day decided to get them waxed. I went into this place and the guy did a great job. I guess because it was my first time, my skin reacted and my forhead and eyebrow area swelled up for almost a week.

I got my freaking eyebrows waxed and wound up with a rash!!!!!!!!

It only happened that one time but I am scared it will happen before the wedding!

I am happy to report, I am back and loving my eyebrows, she was a tad bit upset that I brought a picture to show her what I wanted whatevva man, they are mine and I only get one pair and if you mess them up I am the one that has to live with them. You could tell in her body language she was not all in to me at all oh well. They are back to normal and that is all I care about.

I get mine threaded sometime, but the wait is usually so long that I can't be bothered. I will just have to go more often as to keep the shape. Why does eyebrows take so long to grow back in the spot you want them to grow back in

I am so happy right now I could fly

I have sensitive sensitive skin so every time I go for a wax, the skin above my eyes is totally red and blotchy (a total mess)!! It also hurts me like hell!!

YES!!!!!! I take my eyebrows VERY seriously and I would be fuming if they were messed up especially for an event!!! Once that happens, it could take awhile for a person to have the arch that they had perviously.

i hate my eyebrows.....because I usually mess them up myself, and I'm too scared to have someone else do them....I probably should though because I'm terrible at plucking!!

If you do them the week before your wedding and maintain them at home leading up to your day you will not have anything to worry about. If there is any swelling etc, it should have healed by the time that your wedding comes around.

Palebride, you need to find the right person and you will never have that fear again.
