Believe it or not I think I bought that some time in August when they just started putting Fall things out in the stores. They had two different sizes...I loved them so much I bought both.
The funkin I ordered from Masterpiece Pumpkins . The guys name is Gene. He's so quick! Order it ASAP to beat the fall rush. Also, get both lights. He offers a plug in and a battery one. I wasn't sure where it was going to be, so I got both...it was only $5 more.

Re: Fall Ideas
Girls who have done small pumpkins as your place card holders....I LOVE this idea so much. Think it looks so great set up on the place card table. My only concern is that I don't want people to have to walk around holding their little pumpkin during the cocktail hour when I want their hands to be free to eat all the yummy food and drinks. I feel like some weddings I go to I pick up my place card right away if the table is right there....on my way in to the cocktail hour. Should I just assume people will be smart enough to go back for their place card after the cocktail hour? I'm trying to think of my cocktail hour / reception set up...it's a country club so right when you walk in the doors to the place the place card table is there...it's the first thing the guests will see when they walk in the door. And the cocktail hour is sort of spread out thru a few rooms...one being the one where the place card table is.Am I thinking too much about this??? I guess if someone wants to take their card they will and leave the little pumpkin behind....???
Just random thoughts I was just having when I was thinking of doing this - wanted to hear from brides who have done it already.
Thanks!!!

Re: Fall Ideas
I was just looking on the website Terry's Village and saw they have a lot of cute fall stuff...including silk leaves! Anyway I thought these were kind of cute b/c they are pumpkins with leaf cut outs on them...great for the fall theme! But what could I do with them? Set them randomly around the cocktail hour room??? I just think they're really cute...but not sure if they are too casual looking for a wedding? What are your thoughts??? They're so cheap! Here is a link - see pic below.Pumpkins
These are also really cute terra cotta pumpkins...but again - can't think of what to do with them? Ideas???

Re: Fall Ideas
Sorry I'm posting so much today on the fall board....anyway I randomly found some knot girl's article on her fall themed wedding. She had her aisle lined with big pumpkins - not too many but it looked SO cute. Did any of you past Fall Brides do this? My ceremony is indoors though so I'm not sure if it would look funny.....I can't get the picture of the aisle with pumpkins to post so I will just include a link to it...scroll down a bit to see pic on left hand side...

If you want to line the aisle with pumpkins I would use the ones you posted above....You're getting married at night and the flicker from the pumpkin candles will look so beautiful! When you get them see how big they are and possibly stop by your hall to get an idea. I know I made a few visits to my hall to check things out.
Regarding the pumpkin placecard holders...they did not have ours out until everyone was ready to go in the reception room. It worked out perfect. Double check with your hall as time comes closer.
I also bought these from Terry's Village. Here's the link: Terra Cotta Pumpkins - Used as Placecard Holders

Re: Fall Ideas
LORI...as always - so many great ideas! THANK YOU!!! That's a great idea to take the pumpkins to my hall to see how they would look on the aisle. And good idea - I can have the hall wait to put the place cards out until everyone is ready to go into the reception! LOVE those little pumpkins you used....that Terry's Village is a great site! Thanks again!

I am doing the DIY fG dress and I stole/borrowed the idea from 103005fallbride!! (thanks Lori!)
It is actually very easy, the dress is from US angels and on the back of it where the zipper meets the toule there is a small hole so that you can access the petals that are in the dress, just pull them ourt and insert your own leaves...any questions just FM me!
