I am thinking of hanging the leaf tags as the placecard on the branches. What do you think of this for placecards??

Girls I had ordered some silk leaves online that I hated...they just looked so fake to me and were too yellow/orange...I wanted more deeper colors. I found great ones at Michael's this past weekend...they are so nice and look real! All diff. colors...reds, orange, browns, green, yellow. They are not too big which I like. Just wanted to share the tip. They come in very small bags though - I think only 20 leaves per bag at 99 cents a bag. I bought 20...will probably get more. I have 2 FG's and I want them to toss leaves instead of rose petals. I also want them scattered around the CP's so I'll def. need some more.
Just wanted to share though - they are really nice ones!

Also I ordered my fall unity candle from a seller on Ebay...I'm working with them now to design it and I love it! I think I only paid $30 for it. Here are 2 sample designs she sent me. My BM's are in chocolate brown so I had her use some brown ink to tie in that color. The quote is our favorite quote from our fave play Rent.
Which one do you girls like better - 1st or 2nd? I like the one with more leaves so I'm leaning towards the first one.
Try to envision it on the candle...obv. the stuff at the top of the picture will be on the middle pillar candle. And at the bottom where she put 'Tapers' one would go on one taper and the other would be on the 2nd taper. I like just the leaves for the taper...I'm not loving our names over the leaves.
I'll be sure to post an actual picture of the candles once I receive them!!!

ETA: I agree about MOST of the fall leaves out there...I have bags upon bags that I ordered and HATED...I finally found GREAT ones...(the ones that are in my leaf girls dress... they're VERY realistic.

Yes some leaves are just SO fake looking! It's definitely hard finding good ones.

I love the second one also. Also, if you go on ebay you can purchase dried/pressed fall leaves. Then you don't have to worrry about how fake looking they are. They seem reasonable priced as well.

Oh yes I've actually gotten some of these also but they come in such small amts - it's cheaper to buy the silk ones and now that I found ones I like...I'll probably just use them.

Just bought my leaf garter...I love it! Hope it's as nice in person!

Also bought my ring bearer pillow off ebay...goes with my color scheme. Love that too!!!

I'm getting married in two months-October 21, 2006. I pretty much have alot done but I can not
find the centerpieces that I am looking for . I see
here the pic's of what I am looking for ,it is the candle tree branch. What I want to know is if you made them and how or if you bought them from where ???????

I don't have a pic, but I saw really cute pumpkin baskets at AC Moore yesterday for $4.00!! They would be great for a fall flower girl, or anything else you may need a basket for.
