Re: Fireworks at my wedding..
SFP0214: Hi date twin!!! I was thinking about how cool it would be to have fireworks at my wedding as well (being so close to the 4th of July and all). My hall informed me that since it the start of the 4th of July weekend, we may get lucky and get to see fireworks across the water from other people who are starting to light them off for the holiday weekend. So, you never know, you may get fireworks on your wedding day after all if someone close to your hall is lighting them off. Best part - they'll be free!

Ok, ok, I am bringing everyone down to earth. At the bottom it said that doesn't include government fees, licenses, insurance, putting up the workers at a hotel, set up fees- I think in the end you are looking at around 10000!![]()
I am totally in love with the idea of fireworks since mine is right on the water but its a budget buster!!!!
Party POOPER!
OK, so you're the voice of reason. It does come out to be ridiculously expensive. Who reads the fine print, ever?!
And being 'easily enabled' sounds like perfect English to me!

Re: Fireworks at my wedding..
when you said only $3000 I was like
Too me that's expensive. I think it would be a great touch but how would it work. Would you stop the party to bring everyone outside to see it? It's a lot of $$ for only 2-3 minutes. I'm also a 4th of July weekend bride. Ladies who are doing the sparklers, how are you incorporating into the reception? I thought about it, but I think FH might murder me if I mention another 'wedding idea'..

I say if you love the idea then both you and FH should do some extra work to get it. Whether it be overtime at your job or getting a part time job until you get the money you need.
I have 2 jobs and it helps tons.
LOL I already have 2 jobs!!!

Re: Fireworks at my wedding..
There is also a company called Bay Fireworks, I am planning on using them. I'm not sure if they are much cheaper than Grucci, but it is worth a shot....Bay Fireworks
