That is absurd, b/c she's not working you should do more for her....what the hell is wrong with people. I hope this is the last thing you do for this so called friend who only obviously sees money as a measure of your friendship.

Ok if you had no money then why throw a communiion party??

And I would never expect anything from anyone that I knew was saving for a large expense, like a house, wedding, baby, etc.

Obviously this woman doesn't value your friendship if she has been pissy about this for so many months. It's like she kept a running list of who gave what.

I would write her off. She clearly doesn't care about anything other than what you can do for her and her kids!!

That is insane. There is nothing wrong with a $40 gift card for a communion. I think it is very generous. I think she is a friend you don't need.

My first reaction when I read the post was 'she probably thought you're loaded because of your wedding'...that's what people assume, speaking from experience. Hence why it was 'bothering her for so long'.

Second...she's a loser for mentioning the amount of the gift that you and your DH gave to her daughter. The fact that she held that in for so long shows that she has very little priorities in life and I pity her.

I can't wait to read her response!

OMG I CANNOT GET OVER HER REPLY!!!!!

'whoa w t f is going on ????? i havent even had a computer in like 2 months or aim for that matter . im at my sisters right now and i just checked my mail .. call me tonight cause i have no idea what this is about. '

Then the 2nd email says..

'i think someone has hacked into my account and is f%*@*in with the people on my buddylist and i very well think its melissa cause im not talking to her anymore. if somone ims u from my name it isnt me !!!!!'

There she goes blaming a 3rd party... Even if this was true (which I am 97% sure this is BS)... It just goes to prove that she mentioned the amount of my gift to this Melissa chick.... So either way, she looks like a moron right now. I just cannot believe that she has the audacity to try to blame someone else for this!!!!

ok she definitly has issues going on in her life and she can't seem to get past the fact that she's jelous of you. She may have mentioned money but it can be somthing deeper.

Is she happily married? Maybe she's jelous that you are or somthing else that 's not gooing well in her life.

The fact that she can't assume ownership for her actions is really sad & childish,
