I am so sorry-- Remember that it is better to come to realizations in the beginning, rather than getting hurt worse, later down the road.

Everything happens for a reason, and one day you will look back and better understand why things are the way they are.

I am so sorry you are going through this!! We are all here for you no matter what! Just be happy it happened sooner rather than later and your wedding was far enough away where I am sure the vendors will be understanding. They have plenty of time to re-book.

Good Luck Gloria! Definite;ly better now than later.

I know these baords have been very supportive to other women in your situation, so if you need anything, we're always here. Also, keep in mind that you may be able to get back nearly 100% of your deposits if the vendors get booked for the same day for the same type of event/package...fortunately there is a lot of time until that date, so you will probably get everyhting booked, and LIW may help you to do that, or you may be able to sell things you bought on here, etc..just a though

I thank everyone so much for your support. You girls are GREAT! FH & I are going to take a step back and begin dating each other again & just having fun with eachother. Kinda take it back to the begining of the relationship. The wedding was just bringin on so much stress for us. So we are just going to have fun with eachother now. I know things will work out...Thank you all again

weding stress can defintiely drive you nuts. I'm gald you and your boyfriend are staying together. The wedding may still happen someday, so you may not have lost anything. For any money you can't get back now, see if you can use it for a future event. Even if it's not your wedding, maybe someone you know will want a DJ for a birthdya aprty, etc. Best of Luck to you both, and you can still post on the baords if you feel comfortable doing so. There are amny women on these baords whoa re not yet engaged or who have called off engagements and cancelled weddings and some who are even going through divorces who find a lot of support here. Understandably you may have to move on, but if you choose not to, you don't have to. This site welcomes everyone. There are so many great people here, and I've gotten just as much help with other things going on in my life (like in alws and times I wanted to kill FH to other persoanl stuff), as witht eh wedding.
