GREAT SHOE STORE

Hi Folks: I went at lunch time today to buy my shoes. Go figure, I was in and out in 15 minutes with my shoes. I had no dress or swatch with me. I'm trying on my gown tonight! Anyway, Casa Di Mario in Patchogue across from the Bridal Suite is unbelievable. About 30 - 40 pairs to choose from. Every style, designer and as of yesterday, there is NO TAX on shoes or clothing in New York anymore. I paid 72.00, but it was an expensive pair. Most were about 40.00 - 54.00 a pair. About 5 doors down there is a store called PINA. It's been there forever. I bought my pearl necklace, or I should say the co-worker I was with insisted on buying it for me as something "NEW". It was 59.00 and absolutely beautiful. Also, it's guaranteed for life. I finished shopping in 1/2 hour. Try this shoe store. It's worth the trip.

I guess alot depends on your personality & expectations. We are going to Sandals Bahamas the first week of April, so I will post my thoughts when I return.

BUT.. SUSAN REFERRED JACK & ROSE SEVERAL TIMES ON THIS BOARD. WHY???? BECAUSE SHE HAPPY WITH THEM. GET THE POINT?

GREAT SHOE STORE

Great recommendation! I have a place that you should definately stay AWAY from.. Craft Shoes in Commack. They had my stomach in such knots over my bridesmaids shoes and totally didn't even care. Their basic attitude was "if you don't like it go somewhere else". I had a really large bridal party (7 girls) and it was a horror just to find shoes that they could all wear. When Craft told me the shoes I wanted could be ordered I thought my problems were solved. It was only the begining though. They neglected to tell me that they couldn't get the shoes until 2 weeks prior to my wedding! They said they were trying different stores or what ever. I had to get all my bridesmaids back down to the store to try on different shoes and then they couldn't get those either! After the sales girl I was working with basically told me she was tired of dealing with me, I decided to take my business somewhere else. I could have thrown a major fit but i didn't because that is not the kind of person i am. I ended up going to Pzaz in Centereach and they had the exact same shoes for $5 less. Thank god there was a happy ending but I would hate to see anyone else go through what I did. BEWARE!!!!!

Good luck!
