FH and I were in the Dallas area in February and we went to look at some new construction developments. Grand Homes had the nicest houses. Take a look! (and then look at the PRICE!)

WOW!!! I can't believe houses in other parts of the country!

WHere we live (northern virginia) is the same as NY housing prices wise. The house DH bought in 99 has more than doubled in value! Friends of ours sold a two bedroom tiny house with only a half bath upstairs where the bedrooms are for a little under $600,000 in a neighborhood that appears to be going downhill. It's all so sickening.

We'll probably stay in this house forever and build onto it!
