Re: Hey March Brides...
Kathleen, what did you think of your make-up trial? She didn't use all the base primer on me (she said she would on the wedding day)- but I'm not too sure if it will stay on. I felt like mine was fading within 5 hrs...I also need it to stay on for at least 12! What were your thoughts?

I did candleholders (the iron type) and we wrapped mini ivy garland around the circular bottom and then on either side of the circle (amongst the ivy) we put 1 spray of purpley flowers...very spring garden like and simple....we will use ivory votives in the candle holders

Re: Hey March Brides...
Steph,When I saw My FI a few hours later he didnt even know I had make up on. I'm concerned that it was too light. She was very nice and the make up was nice, but I'm just not sure. I was wndering if it didnt last because there was no foundation. How were your feelings about your hair? My trial for that is the 9th.

Re: Hey March Brides...
wow!! I guess I didnt even realize that its less than 60 days and we can get our licence now!we have our menue appointment on Saturday, and we booked the Hampton Inn for Saturday and Sunday night, so we can get ready there on Saturday. I'm slowly still wrapping candy and rice packets, and I have a hair and makup trial for next Monday, cause that issue STILL isnt settled for me. Its the little things now, and runnig to the mailbox every day for responce cards. Whoo Hoo! I wish they would all just send them already!!

Re: Hey March Brides...
97 yes responses so far. We are going to go for our license during President's week, Fh is a teacher and he is off that week We are going to make it into a date day! ( I know that sounds corny). Then we are going to go out to lunch or dinner and celebrate. I have been working on trying to get my house in order, my mom and dad have both passed so I have the house, and I am trying to go through a lot papers, so I can move upstairs again. I t was hard for me to be up there for awhile since my dads passing, so I have been living in the downstairs part of my house- I have a apt in my house, that my grandfather used to live in years ago. But I am exicted about making my house a home and making happy and healthy memories in. I just feel ike the papers are never ending.
Are any of you exhausted lately? I find as the wedding is getting closer I am more tired then usual.

I love how you are planning on making happy new memories there! Thats so healthy! Best of luck with everything.

Re: Hey March Brides...
I am so tired and frazzled, that last night I put leftover Buffalo Wings in the oven to reheat and I completely forgot about them. My FH turned off the petrified wings at 5am - 9 hrs later. NICE. Our whole house smelled like hot wing sauce! YUCK!

Re: Hey March Brides...
Nice too see that I am not alone during this frazzled time. I got take out tonite for dinner. I bought it early and am going to reheat in microwave, Fh will be going to his moms tonite , looking forward to just being lazy, and pampering myself tonite. Tomorrow I am going to get my hair highlighted for the wedding. My hair is long and thick and I get highlites and lowlites. Last time I was there it took over 4 hours to do. I am going to try to relax while I am there, maybe it will work, cause I can't do anythting else while I am waiting for the highlites to take to my hair.
