We wanted October because its a beautiful season. We got engaged in September and we wanted a longer engagement because we will be moving to Florida right after the wedding. SO we decided on October 2006. We wanted to get married on the 7th because that would be 6 years to the date we met, but the 7th is Colombus day weekend and FH refuses to attend 'events' on Holiday weekends. THEREFORE, we went with the 14th....the following weekend. SO FUN!

we wanted spring.. and the date was avail.

we were originally going with 4/29, but my hall had an afternoon wedding before mine, so i chose a week earlier to guarantee the afternoon to take pics there before the cocktail hour.

OMG!! OUR date is June 10th too and that's why we're getting married on that date! LOL

The day of our wedding will be the 3 year anniversary of us dating :)

Well I was the FG for my aunt and uncle's wedding back in '88 and they got married in June. It was so nice so I've always had this thought that it was a good month for weddings and I envisioned mine would be in June. Plus we both love the Spring, it's my fave season, so we went with that. And I knew I wanted a Saturday night, so that left 4 choices.

Then to narrow down the date, lol like Andreia, I sat down and figured out when I'm going to have my period from now until June '06. I'm also on the pill and I get it every 23 days, so I just counted off to ensure that I won't have it for the big day or our HM. So no Andreia, you're not the only one!!!

Yea, I know exactly what you mean!!! When I told my FI what I had done he just laughed and shook his head!! He couldn't believe it, but it IS really really important!!!

well we dont' really have a reason for september I wanted to do it in February around our anniversary date but FH mother started to become a pain in the butt saying oh there is s till chance of snow and what if its a big storm how do you expect family members that live upstate to come to the wedding abd others that have to travel. So since I was getting sick of hearing her. I chose the day after thanksgiving which was fine for everyone but FH stepmom cuz his 1/2 sister turns 21 and they are going to Vegas for her 21st b-day so that had to be changed. Then FH wanted a summer wedding but I wanted a fall wedding so we made a compromise and went for September since its still hot but its also close to fall and the date well we wanted to do it on a friday and when the Banquet Manager mentioned the 15 I siad yes something about that date I liked.

It's the date when we decided to be a couple back in '95...our original anniversary date.
