FH is a teacher so it had to be when he had off, I wanted a September wedding so we decided August. Then our church only had 2 August dates left. I love the way 8/3/08 sounds (I know I'm weird)

Okay there were a few reasons:

First we had to work around the Rabbi's scheudle (yes this is the main reason..lol) and make sure there were no Jewish holidays around the day that we wanted to get married.

Second was we wanted a time of year that was the 'off' season- hence the less of expense we have to go through

Third and fourth final reasons- we didn't want to do it in a month that anyone had a b-day or anniversary (yet we realized later that FH's niece's b-day was three days later after we booked everything..lol) and we took our first real vacation together in March so that made sense.
