i booked 12th Night & Mittermax for video March 2004 for March 2005 - 1 year in advance

I booked mine 15 months in advance. Didn't want to think about having the photographer I liked booked for my wedding date.

We booked in March...and I am getting married in July 2006. I feel like its never too early. Start shopping around and see who you like. Its not something I wanted to be scrambling to book

We booked ours 10 months in advance (our engagement is only 11 months total!)

We booked 16 months in advance, and when we did, they only had 3 days free in May and June 2006!

oops, I'm sorry. I thought you asked about halls. But actually, I booked my photographer 14 months in advance

I don't think it's ever too early. A lot of the photographers get booked way in advance so if you want to secure a specific photographer, I wouldn't recommend waiting too long. Also, the prices do tend to go up each year it might be nice to lock in a cheaper price.When I book mine next week, it'll be about 13 months in advance.

I booked 3 months in advance (just recently) I got lucky that they were still available. I would say if you have the $$ for the deposit why not get it out of the way? No harm in that :)

The more you can do now, the better. We booked 5 months ahead, but our engagement is short. There were still photographers available, although some of the good ones were booked.

I booked mine a year and a half in advance.If you know the wedding date, it doesn't hurt to start early.

We did it 15 months ahead of time. I wanted to make sure I got them. It was the most important to us.

Georgia, I havent had any problems with any vendors at all being booked. Just Sarah Rock for hair.
