My wedding is on a saturday and I am taking off Wed-Fri and FI is taking off Thur-Fri. He was originally only going to take friday but his boss made him take the thursday off also which I was very happy about. His boss is a good friend of ours so he told to take the day and relax.

I agree...

2 days is good...to prepare...for fh..

well we're getting married on a saturday...and rehearsal dinner is on that thursday- so its his choice if he wants to take thurday off or work half a day....but friday def. taking off...for myself i'm taking both thurs and friday.

well we're getting married on a saturday...and rehearsal dinner is on that thursday- so its his choice if he wants to take thurday off or work half a day....but friday def. taking off...for myself i'm taking both thurs and friday.

That is my option for him...but being that he works a late schedule he has to take thurs. off.

He had the nerve to tell me.... he may not be able to make the rehersal dinner on thursday..I tell you right up and then I saw green.................

I just shut up...becuase thanks to him..he will probaly make me do the RD on the Friday night before the wedding...Annoying!!!

Maybe just one day. Not really sure though. Can't leave him with too many tasks, or he'll get a 'headache'. Go figure.

OH NO>>>>dont do it the night before...u need to get ur rest, and relax the day b4 ...get manicures done...grly stuff....tell FH...no way...tell him he doesnt have his nails to worry about......put ur foot down

he is going to take 2 days off before the wedding. that way he can get his hair cut, and help me with the last minute stuff.

I don't know..I am to the point, that I would let the priest talk to him now!!!!

We are doing our precana on April 17th..and the priest will see us that week, and I will put the bug in his ear to talk to fh......

FH is a work-a-holic, he wanted to work the day of!!
I know he's gonna stress me out b/c he has horrible time management, whereas I'm an anxious nut who has to be early.

1 week but that is because we are flying in to NY the week before the wedding.
Now let me assure you that if we were getting married in the same town we live in I would have to force my FH to take a day off. He loves work...what a freak!
We are also going on a 2 week HM after that. Some how its 4 weeks off from work...I can't figure out the math but that's how it worked out.
I just made the HM plans and told him he had to be off

That way works best for us!
