Get this my FH's cousin got engaged 3-4 months after we booked our wedding. We find out last night that she decides to get married exactly 2 weeks before us! ( In PA no less) now all his family has to travel to PA for her wedding and then two weeks later to eastern LI for our wedding.( they are all coming from virginia) And now we have to travel to attend her wedding when we are going to have a lot of last minute things to do.I'm not sure if I am over reacting~ but I was floored!

If I were you I would DEF. say something!!!!

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I doubt she would do something like this to piss you off. I got engaged after my MOH and my wedding is 5 weeks earlier then hers. But I didn't do it to steal her thunder - I did it because a. the weekend seemed perfect for out of towners and b. I didn't want a long engagement. But I know she's upset that I did it that way - although I did ask her opinion when I was planning and she gave me the go ahead. Soooo...as rude as it seems - just take it with a grain of salt. Get your save the dates out early and this way the family knows about yours first.

I'm going to have to second this, it takes a really truly malicious person to do something like this just to piss you off, and I don't know very many people who are that truly nasty.
