What if you changed the day to an afternoon, lowered your minimum, did less expensive extras?

I'm sorry. But, I have to agree with many of the posts--its probably all for the best and a wedding by the lake will be fabulous--Great pictures!!!

The Jericho Terrace is already a Sunday Afternoon. Im only paying $60/head but its a 175 mionimum. May family is SO big and SO close and all live in Nassau County, which means EVERYONE will show up ( I know my family) We have a list over 200.

He called me up last night and said he wants me to have our wedding at the JT, but now I dont know what to do...What does he REALLY want?

He might just be getting a little nervous. It is a bit overwelming. Remind him of all the gifts (money) that you would be getting from the wedding. That makes a big difference. I bet he didn't think of it that way. (I know I'm terrible)

That's something you two need to discuss. He is upset that he hurt your feelings now. Sit him down and flat out ask him what he wants. Then you two can come up with a comprimise.

Have your wedding, and really try to keep it at 175 or 200 the most.. He wants you to be happy because he said , have it at JT, so I think in turn , u make him happy by limiting the people, so u guys don't spend so much..
