that looks really cool - keep us posted as to the progression of the project!!! I'm completely craft challenged but maybe this is something that FH could do.

Thats Soooo great!
I want to do that for my wedding too!
Do you know how many envelopes will fit in there?
My biggest problem is with the supplies.. I don't know where to get them! or what they are, really...![]()

awwwwwwwwwwwe date twin...deep breaths...deep breaths......
if this was hard trust me i would not be doing it!
you can use any sort of wood as long as it will support the 4 8x10 photo frames on it. the thing with the wheels i found at joanns, it's just a rollable plant holder! it's called a square wood rolling plant stand! we were going to use like a lazy susan but found this and thought it was perfect!
the paint, you can either spraypaint, but i'm just using plain black acryllic paint (just get a small cheap brush to use on it)....this i got from acmoore
the 4 frames you can get anywhere, but i got them at ac moore relatively cheap....i also bought different insets to get different shapes in the frame
the styrofoam i got at ac moore i believe, it's just a square piece of foam i'm going to cut....
the fabric also joanns, and the holders and l-fastners they have at home depot. i bought velcro just in case i can't screw the lfastners in.....you'll also need a glue gun
i'm not sure how many cards it'll fit, but if you put the box horizontal instead of vertical, i'm assuming it'll give you more room
here's a pic of the styrofoam, holders and L-fastners, fabric and picture mats

azoodie, what is this?
it's just a piece of wood...it was meant for something like making a mosaic something or other...it just happened to fit for the four frames so we got that one...you won't be able to see the squares once the frames are on there
however, i'm debating skipping that step and just putting it on the roller....i have to see

Re: I'm feeling crafty!!! (my photo cube project)
Ooooooh, now that I see the pieces I think I can do this. I better Grandpa and Dad were both in the carpenter's union. You would think there is something in my DNA.
Azad, you need to have your own show...
'This Old Wedding' or
'Extreme Makeover Wedding edition'

Re: I'm feeling crafty!!! (my photo cube project)
Yeah I posted that question a few days ago - so just do a search on me
Azad - you are making it look so easy - hopefully mine will go as smoothly.
I guess you have to have all your pictures together and in the frames before you put it all together, right?

Azad,How in the world can you say you are not crafty? You are the fastest draw in the east with a glue gun and look at this new project you have taken on! Let me know if you need any help - payback is a wonderful thing to take advantage of
