we had to do a $300 deposit and then half of the remainder 30 days later and the the last half two weeks before the wedding date!!

50% is way too much.

We put down $500.

i only put 800 for a deposit

the rest was due (-300) two weeks before the wedding

and 300 was due at the time of the proofs!!

so i have never heard of 50% for a deposit...that sounds high....

whose the photographer!!!
