Didnt realize people would take this post as me saying my 'sole reason for throwing a wedding was to make money'. I guess it could come off that way but thats not what my post was implying.

See I think people are taking it as that your planning to make even more than you spent on the wedding, which is not how I took your post at all, I thought you just meant that you will be getting gifts after the wedding that usually happens to be cash, so your making money, not making more money than you spent

Thats why the internet ***** sometimes with how people interpret things, because I totally understood that your not trying to say that the wedding is ONLY about the money you will recieve after ..

Thanks cause I definitely dont expect to get anything near what was spent. What Im hoping for is for some cash to help pay for the rest of what is due. Im not trying to start a saving account with 'ALL THE MILLIONS ' I made from my wedding. I posted on the NW board too to clarify cause a lot of people were saying 'Theyre not throwing a wedding for that reason blah blah' Who would throw a wedding to make money?? Does anyone do that? It just kind of annoyed me.

Exactly, yeah I saw that yesterday and just rolled my eyes, because I can't believe someone would even think you would do that, but i guess people may not have read your post, or just read it entirely wrong

Exactly. I usually dont get annoyed over internet forum crap but Im stressed this week. Everything is annoying me!!

I'm hoping we can at least break even....since 99% of our guests will be asian...it might be possible (we don't give gifts...only cash).
