I eat whatever the F i want.. Too much good food around, cant say no! We only live once!

No seriously- I do eat whatever I want, but i try to stay active as much as i can. I also grew up in an Italian house so I was eating pounds and pounds of pasta so maybe my body is immune to it I also have a pretty fast metabolism so I have to sh!t halfway through my meal...

I say EAT UP and enjoy the holiday. Just hit the gym a little more than usual!

You Rock!!!

i would say to excerise, and watch what you put in your mouth, i hit the gym every other day and watch what i eat, and i go to weight watchers too, which help me to be in control.

Re: Is anyone EVER successful in not gaining holiday weight? Share your secrets!

I will be honest... The holidays are to me a time to relax, be with family, and maybe indulge a bit...not to make ourselves sick, but to be relaxed and enjoy GOOD FOOD. There is a way to enjoy and still be cautious of what goes in. I am a consistent active person, working out 5-6 days a week. I don't beat myself if I have cake, cookies, OHHH I am Italian so pasta too if you please. Food is good, and it is meant to enjoy... If you feel like you are going to beat yourself up after eating...my advice is don't bother...If you indulge more than ususal and enjoy it and maybe watch more the next day...Go for it.. there is no point to make yourself sick about eating on the holidays..It shouldn't be the main focus...The main focus should be enjoying the time with family and friends...and Fu** it if the cake went down after the 10 meatballs... There is always tomorrow!!!!
