I am hoping that without the honeymoon I will be able to keep it under 10K. But we have only 100 people, doing in the afternoon, and I have a friend that does photos. Good luck

We are also aiming for 15K with 100 people, but the list in increasing as the weeks go by... we will see what happens.

It's AMAZING how costs pile up so quickly when you just decide to 'add' just one thing or 'upgrade' just one thing.

Will probably be in mid 30's. Was aiming for 25K, Ugh. L.I. can be an expensive place for a wedding with big families involved.

How are people attempting to keep costs down

65K is an approx. amount without the honeymoon.

FI and I never really added everything up...I just did a rough estimate. I cant believe it is that high....I am not sharing this with FI today

Well, my parents are giving us 25k

but i think including the honeymoon we'll be at about 30k.

Me too. But, this doesn't include the rings, honeymoon or my dress - we're paying for those.

We budgeted 15K, not including HM. As of today...we are at 16.5K but that includes everthing....from all the stuff I made, bought on ebay, the stamps for invites, tips...everything! If I bought something wedding related....I put it on my spreadsheet. I think I did pretty good

btw...the list keeps going up so that is what changes the budget, not me overspending...we underbudgeted for photographer and dj, but overbudgeted for invites and other things, so hopefully, we'll stay in the teens.

Mine is gonna be about 17-18K because the guest list KEEPS GROWING - it was gonna be $16K at 120 guests.

i originally thought my budget was going to be 10,000 for 65-70 people, but looking at all the expensive prices, we are now thinking 15-20. our parents are helping us with some stuff, so total all together for our wedding will probably be around $30,000. not including honeymoon.
