I must say, this is one of the longest threads I've seen! Job well done ladies! I'm not getting married at Russos, but I had a question regarding Vetro--Russo's new location for smaller parties. Does anyone have pricing/menu information regarding this place? I'm thinking of hosting a shower there. TIA

Hi Ladies,
It has been a while for me since I have been on. I wanted to tell the ladies who have not yet went for a food tasting that it is so much fun.

I went for a tasting this past weekend on a Saturday night. Since I am getting married next February I wanted to see what the food & menu would be like for next year. Russo's told me that it was a great idea since the menu does change by season. All I have to say is I got a feel for what my wedding will be like & I just can't wait. I am so happy that I booked my wedding with Russo's the food & service was awesome as always & Mr. Russo stopped in to say hello which is always nice.

I am actually going to Russo's tonight to meet my florist. I set this up with Kelly I wanted my florist to decorate a table in the Tivoli room so I can see exactly what it will look like the day of & to see if I need to make changes. I am doing a lot of candles & orchids submerged in water. I want to make sure that the arrangements are not going to be in the way of my guests view to talk with others at there table. I have a big crazy Italian family that will move my center pieces if they can't see the person across from them & after spending all this money on flowers I don't want that to happen.

Hope everyone is doing well with there planning just wanted to let you know to try to get your food tasting in the season you are getting married in if you can do that.

Russo's Bride here!!!! ive been looking at so many pics frompast brides and i have to say that I think Russo's does an AMAZINGGGGG job.... i cant wait till the big day....

i did hear one bride complaining about the valet... anyone else heard this concern?

I have not heard any problems with the valet. I have been there a few times for weddings & everything ran smoothly with the valet. Actually one of the best parts is at the end of the night Russo's Valet puts the next days News Paper in each of your guests cars for when they are leaving.

Also if your guests take out a doggy bag of Food they give your guests a ticket & they can pick up there doggy bag on there way out when they get there car so they don't forget it or feel funny taking a bag of food out with them. I think it's so great that they do that.

yeah they had told me about the doggy bag of foos which i thought was a relally good idea, but i didnt know about the newspapers!! man they think of everything!! i feel like im def getting my moneys worth with them!

Oh how i miss this thread.....

Russo's did an absolute amazing job....people are still talking about my wedding... 4 month later!

You will all have an amazing time and the staff is AWESOME....

I love Russos...Im having my shower there in June
I was a Russos bride before I switched to a destination wedding...
Not having my wedding there is the only downside to having a destination wedding
