I would absolutely say 'yes' why not? She'd probably otherwise be bummed about not hvaing a date. if she were still with the bf, you'd be paying for him. So who cares? My best friend brought her brother to my sister's wedding. I don't care who people bring 'and guest' is totally at theri discretion.
