So sorry about this.It was so nice of you to give a public service annoucement so that people can see that the dangers of smoking are so real.
My dad smoked 3 packs a day and quit cold turkey 16 years ago. I tell everyone that if he can do it, so can they. And he smoked every cigarette right down to the filter!
WoW--I just realized that it is almost half MY life that he has not been smoking!!!

I am so sorry to hear that he passed away.. my granpda died in March of this year.I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear this! Fh dad passed from cancer last Oct and it still tears him up but he is getting through it. We still have to get him and FMIL to group therapy! It's been a crazy year. I sympathize greatly with you and am sorry for your loss.Just know that he is a peace now and no longer in pain. We are in pain without them but it's a burden that I gladly take on for my loved ones who have passed. It's a horrible time of year for these things to happen, my condolences.

just got back from the wake.
it was tough.
i honestly was primed and ready to kill when i saw people going outside for cigarette breaks at a wake for a man who died of LUNG CANCER...
tomorrow's the funeral. and my poor FH has his MBA finals tomorrow night. i can't wait til this is all over.
