I am so sorry! To answer your question, I have actually heard of something like this happening. My old boss had to perfor CPR on the groom's uncle, but he too passed away from a heart attack.

I'm so sorry to hear that your wedding ended so tragically. I know it's a difficult ordeal and it seems nothing will make you feel better but as some of the other girls have said, you may be able to find some solace in the fact that he spent his last hours in the loving company of family.

Very sorry for your loss......It's got to be a very tough thing to go through on your wedding day. But, as someone else said, he died surrounded by friends and family (just a small thought to hold onto).

I've actually seen this happen quite a few times in my work as a paramedic. I think a lot of it has to do with stress and dancing and lots of food, all at once. Weddings and funerals seem to bring on a lot of stress and memories that people forget about and the whole combination is sometimes a lot to take. It is quite a common occurance, but it's very hard to imagine until it happens to you or someone close to you.
