Hi Ladies:

I need a limosuine for 5/26/2000 from 11am to 1pm. Does anyone know a good company. I was quoted $400.00 and $600.00 for one 12-14 passenger stretch for 2 hours on a friday afternoon. I thought that was a bit steep. Is it the going rate?

I got this formula from USABride.com. They have a tip of the day that you can have sent to your e-mail if you want. If not you can just get on their site and look at the tips. Some of their ideas are pretty good.

Try All Star Limo in Farmingdale. They have very decent rates, and I have gotten recommendations for them from everyone!

I used Designer Limos for our wedding--what a great group of guys!! Our driver was a retired police officer that was so sweet and considerate. Their website can be found here in the vendors listings.........

We are using them too. I got a price of 1100 for a superstretch 12-14p and a 6-8 person limo. One limo is for 4 hrs and one is for 3hrs.

They were one of the most reasonable companies we saw.

I used All Star in Farmingadale for my wedding. They were AWESOME! The drivers were the friendlist I had ever met and the limo were new and in perfect condition. They were also extremely punctual--they arrived so early but just hung around until we were ready. I truly thought they were the best I had ever seen.

Has anyone used them before? Any and all feedback would be appreciated! : )

Help!! Limo Prices!!

OK, what's a reasonable price for a Limo? I need two large cars as my bridal party is about 14 people. And I need the cars for overtime (a total of four hours) Someone give me a reasonable ballpark figure that I should be looking to pay for one 12-14 passenger and one 10 passenger car.

I have been pricing them. For a 2 hour span from 11am - 1pm on a Friday morn/afternoon, they are quoting me 400 - 550.00 per limo

Boy does it sound like we have similair taste LOL I got them at FantasyLand in Patchogue. There are different price ranges depending on what kind of stem you want. I think mine were less than $1 because I decorated them myself. You should take a ride out there, they would definitely have frames too. I planned half of my wedding from that place! Gina :)

I am also using designer- we got 2 10-12's one for 3 hours and the other for 4, the total with o.t. and tip was $940. We also get a late night pick up. I used them for my senior prom (7 years ago) and my friend used them over the summer (I was in the wedding), both times we had excellent service!! I higly recommend them!

I was disgusted by a meeting with one DJ who mentioned a tip, two minutes into our conversation. Needless to say, I knew two minutes into the conversation that he was not the one for me. And reading Rob of "Starlight Productions" post, I am glad that HE is not the one either.

For the record, I fully intend on tipping AND feeding my DJ (because he had the class to NOT mention either)

The Harrison House is very nice. My company has had conferences there. The grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent! They have a very interesting cocktail hour set-up with different rooms featuring differnet food. Also, since it is a hotel, it makes it sooo convenient for your out of town guests. Anyway, I hope this helps a little!

when we were shopping for a limo i too thought it would be great to have the whole bridal party in one limo. but a friend of mine had it and it was really hard. first off you only have two doors in the back of the limo then you have to move all the way to the front in your dress heels and flowers it was tough, plus they had coolers and we had to hopp over things and it was not as cozy as it looks

While I love my soon to be husband, I think we'd both go a little batty after the 4th day of silence...........then again, I might actually need 7 days of silence by the time the wedding arrives! : )

Was that a limo or a Navigator? We want to get a Navigator too, but my whole problem is the price...not the money, just the principal...we got a quote from Mark of Elegance that said they would give us 3-6 passenger limos for $725 tax and gratuity included. Then we got a quote from another company for the Navigator (which we thought would be more fun also) for $840 including tax and gratuity. Why should 1 car with 1 driver be more money than 3 cars with 3 drivers? I just don't get it.

I swear to you that when I was speaking with the guy from all star limos in Farmingdale, he said that it was about $300 for the day (I haven't made an appointment with him yet to book, so I'm not sure of the final prices). This included from home to church - from church to reception/pictures - from reception to home/hotel. It's worth looking into. There are probably case by case pricings, but so far they have been the best for the price. And they come highly recommended by everyone I talked to.

ALL-STAR LIMO WAS THE BEST WE HAD THEM THIS PAST DEC AND EVERYONE WAS SO PROFESSIONAL. THE LIMO DRIVES WERE REALLY NICE AND THE PRICES WERE WONDERFUL THE SHAPE OF ALL THE LIMO'S WERE BRAND NEW.. TRY THEM

She really is a pleasure to deal with. If there is something special that you want, ask. Worst thing she can do is say no.....

I guess I feel like I am going to be a pain in the neck. I mean the sheet they gave us promised coat attendent, restroom attendent, fresh floral arrangement in lobby and powder room, bud vases with fresh cut flowers, etc. No of which is on the contract. But I would hate to let it go and there be an issue that day, you know?

Also, did you include the # of bartenders and wait staff?
