Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Hi girls... I am officially 8 months away today and I need HELP! :)Are any of you Fox Hollow girls using an officiant that you were put in contact with through Fox Hollow? If so, does anyone have an e-mail or contact person at Fox Hollow that you recommend I contact to get a list of their preferred officiants?
Also, who are you using? Recommendations/Suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Under 3 are free. But also, they told me that they are 'lenient and understanding' with children - if you tell them that you have a 6 year old that doesn't eat, they are not going to charge you. That was the example they gave me.... I asked b/c the price for 3-12 yrs old is 1/3 OFF the full pp price...not 1/3 of it (same for vendors). And I thought that was a lot, since most kids don't eat much. HTH!

Great! I've been waiting!
Question for you though- I saw in one of your pictures that you had your Channa plaque on the fireplace with the bouquets and candles around it. I was told by my florist that we werent allowed to decorate the mantle. Did you talk to your banquet manager about that specifically and they let you?
thanks :)

When I booked we were told we could do whatever we wanted. He told us he didn't particularly care for flowers on the fire place and suggested up put photos up instead. We decided we're goingput up wedding pictures of our family with a nice Indian saying...'You are the result of thousands of loved ones...'But he said we could do what ever we wanted.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
We heard the same thing from the banquet manager (Dave). Although some people prefer to put flowers up on the mantle, he said that sometimes they can make the mantle look more like a memorial for a funeral. He suggested blowing up 2 of your favorite photos and yourself and your FH (whether it is from your e-pics or others) and putting them in frames at each end of the mantle with some flower petals or something low.

Does anyone know what bakery Fox Hollow uses? I heard their bakery is terrible. Does anyone have any feedback/input?

It's Egra Bakery. I personally had great experience with them. I went there about 2 months prior to my wedding and brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted (paid extra as I wanted fondant) and was even able to taste the options that they offered. I ended up choosing two of my favorite flavors and they had them combined together for me. Me and hubby and all of our guests were raving about how great the cake was lookswise and of course tastewise.

Great! Thank you so much! I was horribly nervous b/c i was hearing a few bad things. We'll have to go straight to the bakery!

I was super nervous myself because a few girls from the past did have bad experiences with the bakery. One showed a picture of a cake being super crooked.
Definitely go straight to the bakery and this way there is less chance of a miscommunication as you are speaking directly with them instead of Fox Hollow.
Here is a picture of my cake. I thought it came out amazing (my florist added the fresh flowers).

Actually the night of, the Maitre'd suggested we put the bo-k's up there and my DOC set the rest up. It turned out beautifully. Honestly, I'm not a fan of having pictures of myself up there...I feel like you already see me sitting here and now you want to see pictures..little overload imo.
But anyway, it wasn't a problem at all. My florist is the house florist so maybe thats why too.
