We used the ovals to give our guests more room. We had between 8 - 10 people at a table.

THanks!! Did you use 14 of them? How many guests did you have total?

We had 4 on the side of the bar and 6 on the window side. It worked out well b/c we kept the bar area open for those who like to hang out by the bar. Since we had the room we didn't see a reason to have the bar people crowding around tables. We only had about 120 people.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

they have many colors, including white or Ivory. I have seen it with the white, not all white, but white with an accent color, and it was pretty

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

Does the fox hollow provide place settings so each guest knows where they are seated? What do they look like? Has anyone used them?

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

You mean the seating cards?

They have them, they are ivory with a heavy border around them, or you can turn them inside out to just have the ivory.

They provide table numbers, and will set the seating cards up for you at the cocktail hour for guests to find their seats.

Are you looking to do specified seating at the table, or just you are sitting at this table and guests choose who they sit by?

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

Yes, I meant seating cards. I just want to give the guests their table number, but not a specific seat at the table. Do they type them up for you or are they hand written? Did you end up using them?

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

Did you personalize the menu? I hear you can create your own monogram/logo.

Any other tips you can share? I have an afternoon wedding in May 2011, getting married at the place and in the Garden Terrace!

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

Hi! Did anyone go taste the cakes from the 'house' bakery that the Fox Hollow uses? I think I might go to The Taste Of Home as well..I think one of my previous students family owns it.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

I know that you get the place cards and you write the guests and the table number on it.

I know when I met with my BM he said that they make a menu card for you after you select the menu of course.
If you want it fancy you need to go outside of the Fox Hollow and that will cost extra.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

They hand wrote mine, but that was because I didnt realize I was supposed to do it. You can print them yourself at home if you want, there are programs and paper you can buy.

They print menus, but it will only have the entrees. I wound up designing and printing my own for each place setting that included the appetizer, salad, dessert and what kind of cake we would be having. At the time, the house baker was Erga Bakery, I have heard they may have changed recently, but we loved our cake

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

Erga is no longer their house baker. I belive it was sold. We used A Taste of Home. They were the reccomended specialtiy bakery. They gave us a few extras for using this bakery. It was by far the best cake ever! And they were the best to work with! Not a single complaint!

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

They are building a new room in the back. It will have a separate entrance lobby where PWP is now. It is supposed to be finished before March since they have already booked parties starting in April.

I am booked in the new room. I've seen the plans for it, but I haven't been there in a while. When was the last time you saw it? Have they made any progress with it? I've been meaning to stop by at some point to see how much they've gotten done.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread

I saw it a few weeks ago. They still have a long way to go. They said to come in January because they expect to make good progress by then. I will be there tomorrow night for the PWP Tea Party. I'll let you know if there have been any changes worth seeing.
