Please ladies be careful with the birth control pills. The doctors didn't find out I had a genetic clotting disorder till I was 26 years old and on the pill for 6 years. Luckily I was on an older pill and it was a low dose pill. But the doctor pulled me off right away and I can't ever go back on again. If you have a family history of clotting or strokes talk to your doctor about being on the pill.
