Christies in Bayside is really good. I've only gotten cuts there, but they do everything good. They are a vendor on this site too.

I go to Lori at Salon Deja Vu (Victoria is really good there, too). Here's their number....718-939-8399. They're on Francis Lewis Blvd.

Is it diagonally across from O'Neills? I pass that place on the bus every morning. Maybe I'll check it out some time.

Creative Cuts on Union tpke in Fresh Meadows. Small salon - not too fancy, but they always make me look good. I pay less than $40 for a single process color and cut, I can't imagine they would charge a lot for straightening.

It's closer to where CTown is. Just a block or two down from O'Neil's. And it's only $18-22 for a blowout I think.

International Haircutters in Fresh Meadows.Another great place is Jamaica Beauty Salon on 153rd in Jamaica off Jamaica Ave. Ithink Rufus king Park is right across the street.
The stylists are all Dominican and they are awesome,
If not, Jeanee or Valerie at International Haircutters.
