I'm a bit worried that it's too inexpensive. How well is it made? Usually, a table will cost more than that by itself...

I'd flip over the chairs and peek under the table to make sure it's well made.... maybe scrutinize the in-store sample to see how well it's dealing with abuse....

That is a great deal. I remember going through this and we couldn't find anything. But did you want something a bit bigger or you wanted that size. You should try tiffany dinettes in 112 in medford they have a clearance center they have great deals and around the price you are paying now but its a little bigger. I paid 1300 for my dining set so you are not paying alot for what you have. I also have seen some bigger sets for that much.

Also ikea has a set for 99 that looks similar to that. I think 199 if Im not mistaken.

It looks really nice.
We have a few mahogany stained pieces from target.
It's good but you do get what you pay for.
We decided that while the baby is small we'll buy pieces that we can live with getting destroyed.

FIrst of all, the table and chairs are soooo nice. Very classy and elegant. I love dark wood! That price actually seems too good to be true.

Does that $300 include the chairs, also?
I have never seen such a great deal!!!!!!!!!!!! That is awesome. If I were you I'd take it and run!

It's a good price but I'm not loving the shape of the table. It's VERY simple and I think if you get a table with a little more detail to it-- that it would work better in your space.

I also think the space in which you want to put the table would work better with a small round table which also happens to be in style right now.

Bottom line, the table you are asking about is nice and, as long as it is made well, it's a good price but I have seen round tables with chairs that I happen to like better style wise and in the long run- I think you'd be better off with one of them. I have seen them for around the same price as the table you have pictured too...

Here's what I mean...

I think $300 is a great deal and I LOVE that set for an apartment!! I think it is classic looking and simple. Put a nice table runner on that and some beautiful candlesticks that I'm sure you got when you were engaged and you have a beautiful table!!!!!

This is a really nice set and a good price... but $300 is REALLY REALLY inexpensive. It makes me wonder if it is good quality. If it is just a starter kit for the next couple of years - I say GO FOR IT. If you want it to last a good long time... double check on the materials used.
