It was absolutely amazing to finally meet them in person after all this time. FH and I went to the hospital as soon as we got there on Friday and I couldn't stop hugging both of them. Of course I couldn't let go of my nephew either. All three of us were naturally nervous at first but it was a great time.

This morning we went to the hospital again first thing, I got to feed my nephew! Today was supposed to be the baby shower, but since Dominick decided to wait two weeks to join us, it was just a family bbq. We drove Krissy (the youngest sister) to her house for the party and I got to meet my 'stepmother' - their mom, who is an incredible person. Her and her family opened up their hearts and home to me. It's incredible to have this extended family.

I feel so very complete now. It's a wonderful feeling.

I am so glad that your trip turned out to be such a nice one....your sisters and you look so much alike and your nephew is absolutely precious.
