hey everyone,

unfortunately, i won't be able to make it to tonight's GTG. i've just been too swamped at work lately. this really bums me out because i was so looking forward to finally meeting everyone, and since i've been working too much to post lately, i was hoping to get my LIW fix too. anyway, have fun tonight, stay dry, and think happy thoughts for me as i slave away for the man mere blocks away.

Girls...

I know from day one I hyped up this GTG and bumped it like crazy, since it would by first one... but unfortunatly, I don't think I will be able to make it tonight.

I have an emergency at home- since I didn't have to student teach this morning I slept in, (which was wonderful might I add! )

When I got up to go to my p/t job, I found out that our furnace died and was gutted out and the guys are in the process of putting in a new one right now. I missed work, and if they don't finish by like 5, I won't be able to get ready to go tonight!

If I don't make it, I apologize... but please have a drink (or two) for me!!!!

good Lord. don't worry about it- with these cold weather months upon us, you need a furnace just a little more than a drink (although it's a toss up for me

)

by the way, for the ladies that are coming, they don't take reservations for parties larger than 6, and when we get there, we'll have to wait for two tables to open up next to each other. Until then, I'm sure we can all 'chill' at the bar.

That being said, it's Thursday Night after work, a busy time, but I'm hoping the rain will deter some folks from coming out, so we won't have to wait that long!

Brown boots, brown tweed cropped pants, brown shirt, tan trench coat....however, you will recognize me by my loud arse voice or the huge LV bag I'm carrying...

I got a call from Tara my car pool buddy and she cancelled on me. Is anyone coming back to the island after the GTG? or anywhere close to the island? I would take the train in by myself but coming back by myself i dont know. I really want to go but I really don't want to drive in.

You shouldn't have to go home by yourself. I know Hollie's driving to the train station in Queens, and then taking to the train into NYC, hope that helps some....I think everyone else is from NYC.
