LOVE IT!
Yeah I need to go back to Stylish. His work is great, he just doesn't have the pictures to show it off!
Mendhi looks great too... I'll google her #.
yeah, when i went to stylish, i was really disappointed because he basically showed me a torn up book with all these old school mandaps so i printed out a picture of what i wanted and he said 'no problem', and he just charged so much less then what elegant affairs did, but honestly, i know their (EA) work is better. you definitely get what u pay for

I checked out your pictures -- I love the Venetian Yacht Club! I wanted to get married there but our guest list is too high for them
I was going to ask you who did you're mendhi because it was comparable to the best I've seen -- and then in the pics, I see little Namisha. She's the best! How much are her rates? --she's so quick too!
I saw a glimpse of your mandap, I should go back to Stylish -- he does do an incredible job.
Any brides on here with actual pictures of House of Dipali's work?
yup, that's nimisha! she actually is a friend of my aunt's so she charged less then what she usually does and she did it privately which she doesn't do. she prefers people go through mehak to book her... but i'm assuming that's really expensive.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Haha! Yep, I was so turned off with his torn up books and unproffessional pictures. When you go to HOD, she has all her mandaps in the store... And her portfolio is great too.But now looking at real pictures of SE... I'm confused!
From the quotes I've heard about at Elegant, I know I can't afford that...And I don't have the time to drive out to NJ only to find out they are not in my budget.
Alright -- I am definetely going back to SE and see what they say.

Thanks hun!

i heard HOD is pretty good also (the guy from stylish used to work there and then branched out on his own) even though the end product was good, i had a few minor problems with him along the way (not horrible... but still) just compare the HOD and the stylish quote and see what works out better.
i'll fm u later with my quote from stylish... but i can almost guarantee that this is not the quite you'll get because since he started re-vamping his business, he's charging more so that he gets up to elegant affairs level.
are u really into flowers? if you are, i would suggest an outside florist. if not, then my cp's were done by stylish. after seeing all the cp's on this website, i didnt like my flowers but i dont really care too much for them anyway since it's a one time use thing

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Def FM me! You're so helpful, thanks!I heard that Barath uncle was from HOD... Ahhh, the Indian politics
What also scared me about him was he promises everything, and when someone does that, I feel like the you have minor issues...
I really want curly willows and calla lily's! But it's coming out really expensive. I'm trying to get my phone to email me the pictures so I can upload them. Basically, what I want, in my budget doesn't look that great
Chat more about this via FM!!
