i need a florist...and actually i was waiting till this time of year to see what other people are doing right now...so i'd better start making some appointments.

so far i know i want to meet with verbena. anyone have any other suggestions?!

i had an appointment with frowers by burton. they were pretty nice. I still wanna see flower michelle i have to call them and make an appointment i had to cancel the last one! lol

Florist I think is my last big vendor for now...
As you may already know, I live in Bklyn, and don't drive (I know, I know), so I usually wait for FH to come home for the wkend to drive me to appointments. But he's doing a wk rotation now w/ no weekends off. So I feel like my planning is somewhat stalled.
I have an appt @ Flower Michele on 5/20 since one of my friends has been so kind as to usher me around that day on appointments. Gotta make a few more... Burtons, and one other... suggestions? I've heard good things about Verbena and Designs by Rose.
What really makes me mad is the prices of centerpieces. I know if I could split myself in 2, I could buy the damn orchids at the deli in manhattan for $18 each, the vase for $5, and make my own! Meanwhile florists want to charge $75-$100 each for that? It just gets to me... sorry for the long post - had to vent!

i booked with them. I think they are great. Located in Melville right by the Mall!
