Here's my Polish self and my mutt(Polish, Russian, German, Swedish and English) of a FH. I love him so much!! I even dragged him to Poland, even though he knows like 3 words in Polish.

Then the other Polish tradition I just remembered about is bringing an extra bouquet to the church to leave for Our Lady Of Czestochowa.

Maybe it's just in churchs that have the painting. My parish is run by the Pauline Fathers (the same order that runs Czestochowa). The current Povincial for the order here in the US used to be my pastor, and we still keep in touch with him. I'm really hoping that he leads our wedding mass. I say leads, cause I'll have at least 4 priests at my wedding.

I can give you directions if you want. We've been going there since i was 7.
