Well, I started at this huge studio in Levittown which closed, and all the instructors wound up in Ballroom of Huntington - right on Main street. I was amateur, and danced what is known as pro-am, where I dance with my instructor and they only score me, not as a couple - I was pretty good - not great - I did a few competeitions - the last big one I did was in Puerto Rico - that was the one I was preparing for when FH and I hooked up...

I had to give it up because you can't be in a relationship and plan for the future and dance at that level - too much time and money - but one day I'll get back to it - I'm trying to get FH to take some more social dance lessons... But, like I said... money....

well.. it was the first time we hung out.
we met through a mutual friend, lou, during college. DH didn't go to our college, but he came down one weekend to visit lou and lou introduced us. i didn't know at the time that lou was trying to set us up- LOL. so i basically ignored DH the whole night, i was more interested in hanging out with my friends.
well, the next day, lou asked me what i thought of luke. and kept saying that ' i really think you guys should talk. you should IM him sometime, just to chat online'
so, i got Lukes screenname, and that night i IMed him at like 11 at night- we chatted online till 3 AM! the next few days we talked on the phone, and luke asked if he could come visit me that weekend. he got down there at about 12 on saturday morning, we hung out at my apartment at school, just talking and stuff.... and then he went to leave at around midnight and gave me a hug, and i just couldn't let him go... he smelled so good, and we had so mch fun talking that day... so then he kissed me

On our first date - after dinner we walked out of the restaurant and he got really nervous so I asked him to give me a hug and then we looked into each others eyes and kissed outside the restaurant for a good 10 minutes...I didn't care who was watching

It was our third date.. I had been wanting him to kiss me all night, and finally when we were saying goodnight in the car he did it!! Its not the most interesting story, but I still get butterflies and all smiliey when I think about it!

oh lord...

i refused to kiss him on our first date lol. so then on our second date i knew that it was going to happen. i was still really nervous... he came and met me at my work and we hung out, got dinner, then we went back to my house. we were in my bedroom and i mentioned my neck was sore so he started rubbing it. (so i was facing away from him) and the more he rubbed the closer i could feel him getting to me. so i turned my head towards him and his lips were right there and then we kissed, i turned around and we kissed A LOT more... for like hours LOL!!!
i loved it though--it was very emotional, i knew he was the one from the very beginning...

When we first met (blind date) he said hello and kissed me on the cheek. I remember thinking - whoa this guy is a little too friendly.
Our first 'real' kiss was after our second date, we were walking to his car, it was parked on the corner of 79th and York, we were saying goodbye and he kissed me. We talked about it later and we both had wished it was a longer kiss!

We first kissed in a bar I didn't really know him too well but my sister wanted be to get to know him for a possible set up (FH didn't know this at the time) Needless to say we closed down the bar and I didn't walk through my door until 6:30 in the morning. What can I say, he's a really good kisser.

FH and I had been on a few dates, and at the end of every date he would kiss me on the cheek. So, the night of our 4th date (I believe) he was walking me to my train in Penn Station. And I noticed he was going in for the whole cheek thing again. So I put my hand up and said, 'Gary, it's time for the lips!' LOL And I kissed him on the lips. The look on his face was priceless and I could hardly believe I had it in me to be so bold! Turns out he was just nervous. Well, he's since gotten over it!

He asked if I can just give him a peck which I did but we started making out...I fell in love with him right there and then!!!!!

Our first kiss was on our first date on Valentine's Day 1999. (We didn't actually become a couple until October of that year) We finally went out on a date after two years of friendship and 1 1/2 years of him courting me! Lol. We went to this adorable little Italian restaurant in the village. After a great meal, he drove me home and once we stopped in front of my house there was the 2 mins of silence and awkwardness b/c we both knew it was coming. So finally, I said thank you for the great night and leaned in for what I made him think was a kiss on the cheek ,and landed it on his lips. It lasted for a bit, but not too long. The funny thing is that a few days ago we were going thru our stuff b/c we are getting ready to move, and I came across a small bottle of Champagne (like a favor), and he told me that it was the complimentary bottle we got at the restaurant on our first date and he kept it because of the significance of that date.

FH and I worked together since we were 16. I liked him a lot but I did not do anything about it because all the girls liked him and I thought there was no chance for me, so we just became friends. Then as the years went by he started to like me but I never noticed because I just saw him as a friend and thought there would never be anything more. Then we became best friends. We talked on the phone every night for hours and told each other everything. About 5 years later (I was 21 at the time) him and his friends were throwing a party at a beach house and he asked me if I wanted to go. Of course I said yes. We had a BLAST!!! My FH loves to cook, so he was cooking all night long. So at one point in the night we were hanging out in the kitchen and he had to leave the kitchen for a second, so he said, 'I'll be right back' and kissed me!!! It was the sweetest and most passionate kiss ever! Oh my goodness, I could not stop smiling. I grabbed my friend and we went outside to get fresh air because I thought I was going to pass out. It was amazing! Needless to say, when I went back inside we kissed the whole rest of the night!!

this is so funny. The first time we kissed was in a room in my office. My boss was on a business trip and i worked in a very small office only like 3 employees. I was the only one there that day. Anyway FH was so respectful and it was taking him like forever to kiss me. So i pulled him into that room and laid it on him. Man was he on fire.

He still talks about that kiss.

We kissed on our first date. I couldn't help myself. We were having such a good time. He was so cute and gentlemanly. I had embarassed myself beyond belief by falling half way down the lane on all fours when I was bowling!!!

Bless his heart he didn't laugh, that's when I knew I had a keeper. After that we played pool and I told him that we should play for something and he said what and I said a kiss!!! He was like OK. He won and I had to kiss him

Well needless to say it was an incredible kiss and it lasted about 3 seconds. I knew right then and there I was in trouble. We went back to pick up his car and ended up making out in my car for about 3 hours. All the windows were fogged up!! We both drove home with our windows down and it was about 20 degrees that night, and it wasn't because our windows were fogged!!!

that's adorable--it's sweet when they are shy about it, i never had that problem with my FH omg he was like white on rice!!! on our first date he kept 'swooping in' and i kept saying no, i wouldn't let him until the second date and until he chilled out a little bit first!!! lol
