Reading keeps me awake..I have been known to stay up all night to finish a good book. TV doesn't help me sleep or stop me from sleeping. It sometimes takes me over an hour to fall asleep when I go to bed. So I have no answer to this poll!!! Sometimes I fall asleep at the computer!

I usually don't even try to go to bed until 2 a.m. DH gets off work at midnight, so I'm in the habit of staying up late.

When I finally go to bed, I have to have something to listen to in the background. I don't have TV in my bedroom, so I usually put the radio on very low so I can barely hear it. I'm usually asleep within a half hour.

DH needs it to be pitch black and dead quiet in order to sleep. I need some form of light (even if it's just the moon), and a little white noise. If I wake up in a room that's pitch black, I feel totally suffocated--like I'm buried alive!!!

It's gonna be fun trying to combine our two sleeping requirements!!

I tend to get insomnia during PMS time, and toss and turn all night. It's so frustrating.

I usually fall asleep watching TV and can sleep with it on all night. Of course this drives DH nuts

Jenn - I am in the same boat right now. I am so exhausted and can't settle in to sleep. The only time I fell asleep at a decent hour in the last 2 weeks was when I took ambien. With that, I fall asleep so fast with it I don't realize it.

TV is a must. I keep it on all night which is a horrible habit.

i have to have the t.v. on to fall asleep. it usually takes me about 30-45 minutes to fall asleep.

TV usually, but I also have trouble sleeping And I've also tried Ambien and I totally agree with Kathy--I was hallucinating, I couldn't hear well and felt naseous (sp?) I will NEVER use that again.

I USE TO BE ABLE TO FALL ASLEEP WITHTHE TV BUT IT WONT WORK ANYMORE

We turn off the TV, cuddle up and talk in the dark to eachother. Then we fall to sleep.
