My linens were from an outside company but my hall shared in the cost. They deal with outside vendors all the time. And I had my tapestries from India. I didn't do too bad for a money hungry lawyer!

No, mine was alittle more of a richer, expensive material . . . more like silkish material, i think

that looks pretty nice to me

dont u just LOVE my table linens. . .
they costed MORE than the flowers!! hehehehehehehehe

My friend got those thrown in at Villas!

Ummm...Ok. No . . . .
See, Villa, as do ALL RH's, give you tableclothes, yes. HOWEVER, mine were specificically ordered through another company that does table linens. Their calling Finishing Touch. Villa, as with all RH's, give you ordinary normal tableclothes and napkins. However, my over $4000 table linens, chair covers and sashes were not offered through Villa NOR do they do such a thing, You'll find your ordinary CLOTH tablecloth and napkins at any RH. However, these are a fabric thats of a very expensive material. Villa did not throw this in, never in a million years. No RH does! These are way to expensive to throw them in. My mother decided to go through the extra expense b/c this is what *i* wanted.
Don't just assume Villa threw this in, b/c they didn't. Why would they, and its so not expected. My mother just loves to get me everything I wanht, and this was definitely an extra fortune.
Not to mention everyone who works at Villa Lombardi's, said and I quote, 'omg, we're never seen this hall look so good until today' [i.e. my wedding day] because alot of people won't and cannot afford to go through an extra expense for something as little as table linens. But my mom sure did.

At what point was your wedding about you AND your HUSBAND??? Poor guy.

the WHOLE wedding was about me and dh.
my mom just paid for everything but me and dh were involved in every bit of the planning and the whole process,
thanks for ur concerns tho!

Guess what, I paid extra for table linens for my wedding also. They were not cloth. They surely did not cost $4K. You could have negotiated better.

Didn't yours have gold thread as well Leslie....that was the rumor...could be wrong...I know it was a royal affair

They were gold yes.

I knew it.....that must have been some party...Too bad Mr. Bon Jovi couldn;t make it

He was in Tampa. But I had an experience that no bride on this board can EVER say they had. I dont care how much money your mom has.

Richie Sambora sang James Brown's 'Hot Pants' to me from a car. It was a great moment.

Awww Leslie

Oh, don't be confused. I'm not concerned, just curious. So far everything you've brought up has been about YOU. Even down to wanting to enlarge a picture that barely shows your DH's face! So when is it NOT about you?

Me too. I would have loved for you to have been there. By the way, I may have the ketubah by our anniversary. The lady says 'Well a first anniversary is PAPER'. So I told her Ed would stop by Staples and pick me up a ream.
